It is our policy to employ the most qualified and responsible individuals for mechanic positions. Our minimum hiring requirements for mechanics are:
Truck and trailer experience is preferred.
Must have your own hand tools.
Must pass a physical and drug screen prior to hiring.
H R Ewell mechanic's program is flexible during the 180 days probation period. During which time an individual without a state inspection license and a CDL-A driver license may excell to obtain. State Inspection license and CDL-A driver license are preferred when hiring, however they are required by the end of the probation period.
Maintenance position hours include four 10 hour shifts and will include some weekend work.
