Tank Wash

It is our policy to employ the most qualified and responsible individuals for wash bay positions. Our minimum hiring requirements for wash bay employees are:

• Must be detail oriented and punctual. We pride ourselves in perfection.
  
• Physical labor is required for hooking up hoses and equipment to the wash system. Must be able to climb a 12-foot tanker ladder and work from top of tanker catwalk while wearing a safety harness. Computer applications are used for the interior wash of our food grade tank trailers. Also, the exteriors are cleansed with pressure washers and brushes.
  

After completion of our application and interview, a tour of the wash facilities and job description are given. After a final interview, a drug screen is performed. Once the test results are received and the applicant is hired, an orientation day is set so that the applicant can learn more about the specifics of our company. The orientation lasts about eight hours and the new hire is indoctrinated on various policies and procedures that relate to the wash bay and various customer paperwork requirements.

Wash Bay is an entry-level position and training ground for other opportunities (ex. shop, driver, etc.) within our company.
